Mesmo aos 79 anos, a música continua sendo meu caminho.
Acredito na renovação do Azymuth e nos novos sons que ainda podem nascer.

Quero agradecer ao Universo pela oportunidade de renovar a minha existência depois de passar por problemas físicos e psicológicos nos últimos três meses. Não foi fácil, mas consegui me superar, passo a passo, com fé, coragem e o apoio das pessoas certas.
Quero agradecer especialmente a Dudu Viana e Flavio Santos Silva , que vieram com toda dedicação me amparar num momento em que eu realmente precisava. Eles me ajudaram a manter o Azymuth firme, vivo e no seu caminho.
O show que fizemos ontem no Viaduto do Chá, comemorando os 2 anos do Bar Matiz, lavou minha alma. Foi um show memorável, com uma plateia vibrante e maravilhosa, que me encheu de força e renovação.
Agradeço também a toda a produção, em nome de Adams pelo carinho e pelo suporte total.

Azymuth and Far Out Recordings regretfully announce that the upcoming Azymuth & Sabrina Malheiros tour in Australia & Asia will no longer take place following medical advice concerning Alex Malheiros, the group’s founding bassist and only surviving original member.
Alex recently underwent a successful emergency medical procedure. We are pleased to say that he is recovering well under his doctor’s care. However, his medical team has advised against long-haul travel and the intense schedule that a tour of this scale requires.
It would not be true to the band’s legacy to perform without him as the only surviving original member. Out of respect for the fans, promoters, and all who have supported the band for decades, especially those who have been eager to finally meet Alex in person, we couldn’t move forward without him.
For these reasons, Azymuth's touring agenda will be placed on hold until Alex is fully cleared by his medical team to travel and perform.
Alex is feeling well, in great spirits, and can't wait to be back on his feet, ready to perform and meet everyone who’s been counting the days for these shows.
We look forward to announcing new dates soon, once he’s fully ready to return to the stage.
We thank all fans, promoters, and partners for their understanding, patience, and continued support. This pause is to ensure that Alex’s return will be strong, joyful, and shared with everyone who loves Azymuth.
