How To Grow Your Lettuce (Lactuca sativa)

1. Fill the coco pot with starter soil mix up to about 1cm before the rim, sprinkle with water and poke shallow holes.
2. Place 2-3 seeds in each hole then lightly cover with the soil.
3. Cover the pot using the soil mix bag and secure with the elastic band, poke holes into the bag to let air in.
4. After 3-7 days, the seeds should have germinated so remove the cover and place the pot in a well-lit, ventilated area.
5. Water the plant thoroughly every 3-5 days or when the soil feels dry to the touch. Apply slow-release fertilizer after 2 weeks to facilitate growth.
6. With the right growing condition, you should be able to harvest your leafy greens in 45-55 days.
