The struggles of having a little sister 💛💛💛
Happy Living
This little girl is one of Delta's feral kittens. She is approximately 6 months old, and being fostered until she gets her shots and spayed. She is also learning how to be a little more social. But she needs a name! Let us here you name ideas!

So true 🙂
So this guy we call Dave has decided to live in our porch and since he is going in to get neutered we decided to let him stay. He was extremely feral when we first met him but is now rather sweet. He can not live in my home as he will fight with my babies so unfortunately the porch is all he can have. He looks comfortable considering it’s quite cold out there .
MERRY
CHRISTMAS & HAPPY HOLIDAYS !
I am so proud of the way our small community is coming together to help our Delta Feral Cats! Thank you so much to all who have dropped off donations for after care! We now have lots of blankets, towels, sheets, and pillows! We also have 3 litter boxes, and a box of food waiting for these kitties after their surgeries (plus more...) keep up the great work Delta and surrounding areas!

WARNING-***Graphic photo****
NEW UPDATE: Our little girl came through surgery well. The amputation went well, and no infection left behind...all edges were clear. She woke up well, if back to being a bit growly, but she is doing well so far! She will stay in critical care on pain meds and antibiotics for now. We are thrilled thus far...fingers remain crossed!!
Many thanks to the couple who realized this little girl needed help and trapped her, to the folks at Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre (that's where the people who found her called first) for contacting us, to the folks at Lennox & Addington Animal Hospital for seeing her right away and getting meds started and her care begun, to Missy Hull for doing the driving this morning, and to the folks at Richmond Veterinary Clinic, particularly Dr. DeMille, who agreed to do the surgery today!
After surgery pics added below...she is still groggy in them!
UPDATE - Surgery is underway!!! And a few more pics for you!
There are lots of kitties to update and things to tell you about...but at the moment this little girl is the most critical.
She is about 7 to 8 weeks old. She was part of a feral family, but the mum and other kittens have disappeared - possibly they have moved on and abandoned her or worse.
She is badly injured. And the injury is badly infected. You can smell her coming. She is missing bits of her leg and foot, bones are exposed and infection has set in.
She has been put on antibiotics and pain medication plus been given flea meds and a deworm.
The infection has spread to the bone so we must get the leg amputated as soon as possible or she will not make it.
We will be trying to make those arrangements as quickly as we can, but we need your financial support to help this little girl.
Please donate if you can.
