We’ve been working hard on our debut full-length album for the past few months, so we’re excited to finally share some more details, including the artwork designed by .tijtgat 💛

Boxing Days marks a shift from the groovy edge of our earlier material towards a more guitar-driven sound, without losing our non-conformist approach to songwriting.

We have never been a band to stick to a single formula, but Boxing Days showcases an ever broader range: from raw back-to-the-roots punk outbursts to the closest thing we’ve ever come to a ballad. All across 8 tracks in just over 30 minutes.

And don’t be fooled by the title: the album isn’t about fighting in any literal sense. There is no clichéd narrative of triumph or fall from grace. Instead, it documents survival and the small acts of self-defence that keep you upright even when you can’t quite keep up with the punches.

The whole thing was recorded in 3(!) days at Barefoot Studio, and will be self-released. That’s DIY for you, baby.

We’ll celebrate this release with a truly special show at Club Wintercircus in our hometown Ghent on 29 March. Please come down 💙💙💙
