Our quarterly Town Hall was a very special one yesterday. For the first time in our history, we organised an 🎇 internal market 🎇.

Our organisation has grown a lot over the past few years, and we realised that many employees were not very familiar with what their colleagues from other departments actually do. Yet, it is an essential factor for a well-functioning organisation. Thanks to our internal market Good2KnowU, we want to bring colleagues from different departments closer together 🤝🏼.

Smoothly guiding more than 300 collaborators through no fewer than 15 market stalls, scattered throughout the building, was an enormous feat of logistics. We can look back on a successful first edition with great satisfaction. The second one will be held in September, during which the remaining teams will have the opportunity to introduce themselves.

C’est pourquoi, le mois dernier, Ypto a sponsorisé l’évènement , lors duquel la « ICT woman of the year » et la « Young ICT lady of the year » ont été élues. 💪 Parce que les femmes peuvent réellement apporter une valeur ajoutée à l’IT, comme l’affirme Christine Valentyn, Team Lead :

« D’expérience, je sais qu’en tant que femme, j’ai parfois une approche, une vision ou une idée différente de celle des hommes. Si nous regroupons nos idées, nous obtenons souvent un meilleur résultat. Même si les hommes n’aiment pas l’admettre, ils ont besoin de nous ! »

Quand Ypto termine l’année, elle le fait avec style. Le 15 décembre, nous avons convié nos collègues à un incroyable ⛄ winter wonderland ❄️pour faire le point sur nos réalisations de l'année écoulée. Nous nous sommes ensuite retrouvés autour d’un verre 🥂 et d’un délicieux buffet. De nombreuses animations étaient également prévues, comme le magicien Armand Magic, des escape boxes à thème, des tables de hockey sur glace et de curling miniatures et des jeux AR et VR ludiques.
