Homoeopathy

Homoeopathy is the science of therapeutics based on the law of similar or "Similia Similibus Curentur" means -let likes be treated by likes.
According to this law, a drug acts as a curative agent in a disease only if it is capable of producing in a healthy individual a diseased state exactly similar to that observed in the diseased individual. In short, a drug which can produce a disease in a healthy human being can cure disease when similar manifestation comes in the body.

Homoeopathy is a new system of medicine. It was discovered by the great master Dr. CFS Hahnemann. Homoeopathy is taken from the Greek word, ὅμοιος hómoios or Homoeos, meaning "like or similar" and πάθος páthos, meaning "suffering".
Thus homoeopathy means "to treat with something that produces an effect similar to the suffering". Homoeopathy is the medicinal therapeutics based on the principle "Similia Similibus Curentur" means "let likes be treated by likes".
