📸 1. Prepare the Patient
Explain the procedure to the patient.

Position them comfortably.

Ask them to remain still during the X-ray.

📦 2. Insert the Film
Take one Star Dental X-ray film from the box.

Identify the convex dot on the packet – this side should face the X-ray source.

Place the film inside the patient’s mouth at the required position (bitewing, periapical, etc.).

⚡ 3. Take the X-ray
Adjust the dental X-ray machine.

Align it correctly with the film inside the mouth.

Take the X-ray as per standard radiographic exposure time (based on machine settings and patient size).

🧪 4. Develop the Film Using Monobath
Remove the exposed film from the mouth and open the packet.

In a darkroom or under a safelight, immerse the film into the monobath solution.

Gently agitate for around 2–3 minutes at 22°C (72°F). Follow the specific time/temp chart if provided.

🚿 5. Rinse and Dry
Rinse the film under clean running water for 30–60 seconds.

Let the film air-dry or use a drying cabinet if available.

Once dry, the film will show a clear, high-contrast image ready for diagnosis.
