A Quiet Morning at Sufi House: Our Last Breakfast Before RamadanšŸŒ™

Just before the start of the holy month of Ramadan, we found ourselves gathering for what would become a memorable meal—our last breakfast before 30 days of fasting. Though the moment felt significant, life got busy and this story remained unshared. So here it is, a little late but still full of flavor.

We chose Sufi House, a place that had been on our list for a while. Located on the 10th floor, it offers a stunning panoramic view of Dhanmondi. The city looked calmer from above, almost as if it was gently preparing for the spiritual rhythm that Ramadan brings.

The timing couldn’t have been better. Breakfast hours meant there was no rush, no overwhelming crowd—just a peaceful ambiance with soft music playing in the background. I’ll admit, I was hoping for some soulful Sufi tunes to match the restaurant’s name and vibe, but the calmness of the space made up for it.

And then came the food.šŸ²
The richness and depth of flavors quickly became the center of our attention. Their Butter Chicken was an absolute standout—creamy, perfectly spiced, and comforting in every bite. The vegetable korma impressed just as much, especially its silky, rich gravy that felt indulgent without being too heavy. But what truly stole my heart was the dal makhani, with its distinct smoky flavor that lingered beautifully and made every spoonful satisfying.🌿

What made the experience satisfying was how affordable everything was for special gatherings. It didn’t feel like a splurge, yet it delivered the kind of quality and ambiance that makes a meal feel special—perfect for sharing with friends and family before stepping into a month of reflection and discipline.

Looking back, it wasn’t just a breakfast—it was a moment. A pause before a meaningful journey.

I’d absolutely recommend Sufi House if you’re looking for a place that combines great food, a serene atmosphere, and a view that lets you slow down and take it all in.šŸŒ¹ā¤ļø

šŸA Breakfast Worth Remembering | Dusai Resort, Sreemangal🌿

This trip to Dusai was a much-needed break from a hectic, robotic life. Surrounded by nature, peace, and slow mornings, I wished time would pause just a little longer. But like always, we eventually return to our responsibilities—carrying memories with us.šŸ‚

One of my most unforgettable moments was the complimentary breakfast. Served from 8:00 to 10:30 AM, the buffet had something for everyone—from traditional favorites to a full English breakfast. Omelet, poached, scrambled, or boiled—eggsšŸ³ just the way you want them. Fresh juices that truly soothed the soul.

Sitting there, overlooking the lush tea gardensšŸ€ and Dusai’s amphitheater, I slowly enjoyed my soul food. No rush, no noise—just greenery, good food, and peace. The chefs and staff were incredibly warm, making every morning feel special.
🌸
Even now, I miss that breakfast. The taste, the view, the calm—it’s a memory I’ll always cherish.

Mornings at Dhanmondi Lake have a calm rhythmšŸŽ¶šŸŽ¼ā€”people walking, stretching, chatting, and easing into the day. Right after that refreshing walk, Nayori Dhanmondi Lake feels like the perfect stop.

Nayori keeps breakfast simple, comforting, and very reasonably priced. Warm parata and naan, slow-cooked nihari🄣, light vegetable and daal, and a classic egg omelet—each dish is affordable, satisfying, and ideal after some fresh air and movement.

End your meal with a cup of hot tea ā˜•, sitting back and watching life flow by. Walkers pass, conversations drift, and the lake quietly sets the mood for a lazy, peaceful morning.

Nayori Dhanmondi Lake isn’t just about breakfast—it’s about good food at fair prices, slowing down, observing the city wake up, and starting the day on a warm, comfortable note.

Bengal Boi šŸ½ļøšŸŒæ

If you’re someone who believes weekends deserve a proper, soulful breakfast, let me introduce you to Bengal Boi at Dhanmondi 27. This place serves thali breakfast only on weekends, and trust me, it’s one of those experiences that stays with you.

Bengal Boi offers two types of set menus, both priced at 320 taka, and honestly, the portion size deserves a special mention. It’s exactly the right amount — enough to leave your tummy satisfied but not uncomfortably full. No food waste, no regret, just perfectly balanced portions meant for one person. You finish everything happily because you can.

Now let’s talk about the vibe. As expected from Bengal Boi, the place is incredibly aesthetic, surrounded by lots of trees and open space. You can sit under a tree, breathe in fresh air, and enjoy your breakfast slowly — it almost feels like a mini escape from the city. 🌳✨

But here’s an important tip: reach early. Although they officially say breakfast is served from 8:00 to 11:00 am, reality is a bit different. Food often runs out by 9:00 am. I’ve personally seen people who had reserved tables but couldn’t get food because they arrived around 9:30 am. So yes, Bengal Boi breakfasts reward early risers.

Coming to the food — everything was clean, fresh, and delicious. There wasn’t a single item that stood out as ā€œbetterā€ than the others because all of them were equally good. No weak links on the plate. However, the aamer achar deserves a special shoutout. That unique, tangy touch was a favorite among my friends and added a beautiful burst of flavor to the thali.

And just when you think it’s over, they serve hot tea, included in the price. That warm cup of tea felt like the perfect ending to a wholesome, filling Friday morning breakfast.

So if you’re planning to visit Bengal Boi for their weekend thali breakfast, set your alarm early, go hungry, and be ready to enjoy a simple yet thoughtfully crafted meal — one that fills both your stomach and your mood. šŸŒžā˜•

I recently visited DS Kitchenin Dhanmondi
7/A for breakfast, and the experience turned out to be far better than I had expected. From the moment I walked in, the restaurant greeted me with a warm, friendly, and welcoming ambiance that instantly set the mood for a relaxed morning. With both
indoor and outdoor seating, DS Kitchen offers the flexibility to enjoy a cozy meal indoors or sit outside and ease into the day with some fresh air. The overall atmosphere felt comfortable and inviting, making it an ideal place for breakfast or brunch.ā˜•

What truly impressed me was their extensive breakfast menu. There is a wide range of dishes to choose from, catering to different tastes and preferences, so you never feel restricted while ordering. Despite the variety and quality, the prices are quite affordable, which is always a pleasant surprise. The food is cooked fresh and served hot and warm, and that freshness is clearly noticeable in every bite. I honestly didn’t expect the food to be this tasty or the quality to be this high, especially for a casual breakfast spot.šŸ˜Ž

Their breakfast service runs from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm, which is perfect for both early birds and those who wake up a little late but still want to enjoy a proper breakfast or brunch in a cozy setting. Among all the dishes we ordered, one item truly stole the show—the Beef Kabuli Chola Masala šŸ‘Œ. It was an absolute hit and easily the highlight of our breakfast. The flavors were rich, well-balanced, and deeply satisfying, and it genuinely surprised us with how good it was.

People often say that there are very few good breakfast options in Dhanmondi, but experiences like this make me want to challenge that perception. I hope to change that point of view as I continue exploring more breakfast spots in the area, and DS Kitchen has definitely set a strong benchmark.🌿

As I embark on this journey, I’ve realized my growth isn’t just mine—it’s ours. I love sharing good food with you all, not only from fancy restaurants, but from places where everyday people can go, enjoy delicious meals, and not worry about the price.
🌿 I choose places where everyone feels welcome, with menu options that suit every budget. Good food should be for everyone, and those hidden gems deserve just as much love.

Thank you for watching, supporting, and growing with me along the way. Let this year be my year of growth—with you. ā¤ļøšŸ½ļø
