আছিয়া ঠিক কতটা কষ্ট পেয়ে মা*রা গিয়েছে জানেন?

বাচ্চা মেয়ে আছিয়াকে হাসপাতালে আনার পরপরই নেওয়া হয়েছিল লাইফ সাপোর্টে। তার উপর পাশবিক নির্যাতন করা হয়েছিল। মোট তিনজন জড়িত ছিল এ কাজে তার বোনের স্বামী, শ্বশুর এবং ভাসুর।

গতকাল আছিয়ার তিনটা টেস্ট করিয়েছিল ডাক্তররা। সেখানে মেয়েটার শরীরে Pneumothorax (RT), ARDS, Diffiuse Cerebral Edema ধরা পড়েছিল।

এ তিনটা কন্ডিশন ধরা পড়লে রোগী এতটাই যন্ত্রণা অনুভব করে যে- তার মনে হয় তার বুকটা কেউ ধারালো ছুরি দিয়ে ফলা ফলা করে কাটতেছে,

গভীর সমুদ্রে তাকে চুবিয়ে রাখা হয়েছে আর সে দম বন্ধ হয়ে হাত পা ছোড়াছুড়ি করছে।

আর তৃতীয় কন্ডিশনে মনে হয় মাথার ভেতর কিছু একটা বিস্ফোরিত হচ্ছে, তীব্র যন্ত্রণার সৃষ্টি হয়।

প্রচন্ড যন্ত্রণায় প্যানিক অ্যাটাক করছিল মেয়েটা। এজন্যেই হাসপাতালে বারবার কাঁপুনি দিয়ে উঠছিল মেয়েটা। গতকাল চারবার কার্ডিয়াক অ্যারেস্টও হয়েছিল তার।

তার গো*পনাঙ্গ থেকে এতটাই রক্ত ঝরছিল যে প্রস্রাব করার জন্যে মূত্রথলিতে স্টোমা ব্যাগ লাগিয়ে রেখেছিল ডাক্তাররা। মেয়েটার গলায়ও জমাট বাঁধা র*ক্তের দাগ ছিল, মুখ দিয়ে ফেনা বের হচ্ছিল।

ধ*র্ষণের সময় দুলাভাইটাও ঘটনাটা দেখেছিল। তাই জানাজানি হবার ভয়ে স্বামী এবং শ্বশুর মিলে গলা টিপে মে*রে ফেলতে চেয়েছিল মেয়েটাকে।

এত তীব্র যন্ত্রণা সহ্য করেও মেয়েটা চেয়েছিল বাঁচতে কিন্তু শেষপর্যন্ত নিদারুণ কষ্ট সহ্য করতে না পেরে একটু আগে অবুঝ মেয়েটা চলে গেলে না ফেরার দেশে।

ধ*র্ষকের বিচার কি হবে জানি না। দুইদিন পর হয়তো জামিন নিয়ে বের হয়েও আসতে পারে। তবে এমন একটা কঠিন শাস্তির আওয়াজ তুলতে হবে যাতে আর নতুন কোন ধ*র্ষক জন্মাতে না পারে।

ওইদিন মেয়েটার মা হাসপাতালে কাঁদতে কাঁদতে বলছিল- আমার মাইয়াডা যদি বাঁইচাও যায় ও তো শেষ, ওরে কেডা নিব? সমাজে মুখ দেখাইব কেমনে? আমার দুই মনির জীবনডা শেষ তো শেষ হইয়া গেল।'

বাচ্চা মেয়েটা সমাজে কিভাবে মুখ দেখাবে সেটা এখন আর ভাবতে হবে না এই অভাগা মাকে। তার আগেই চিরবিদায় নিয়ে নিল সে।

বেঁচে থাকলে হয়তো সমাজের অবহেলার শিকার হয়ে প্রতিটা দিন কাটত মেয়েটার। মেয়েটা যেন মরে গিয়েই বেঁচে গেছে সমাজের কলঙ্কের হাত থেকে।
