On Wednesday, 22nd April, 2026, the Engineering Students’ Association of Bangladesh (ESAB) AIUB Unit Face organized a seminar titled “The Silicon Oxynitride (SiO₂N₃–SION), Gate Controlled Material for SiC-based MOSFET: From Unexpected Growth to Current Potentials” at Annex-3, AIUB.

The session featured Dr. Md. Kabiruzzaman, Associate Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, AIUB, as the speaker. Around 50 participants attended the seminar and actively engaged in discussions to deepen their understanding of advanced semiconductor materials and their applications in modern power electronics, particularly SiC-based MOSFET technology.
