বেশ কিছুদিন আগে একজনের সাথে কথা হলো। সে আফসোসের সুরে বলতেছিলো যে তার অধীনস্থ একজন লোক দরকার, কমার্শিয়াল বিভাগের জন্য। কিন্তু কিছুতেই তিনি যোগ্য লোক পাচ্ছেন না।অনেক খুজেছেন, অনেক , অনেক। আমাকে বললো কোন লোক আছে কি না? আমি বললাম, আছে। কেমন লোক লাগবে? জবাব দিলো, ৩-৪ বছরের অভিজ্ঞতা সম্পন্ন একটা ছেলে যে, export, import, bond customs, epb, bgmea, audit সব কাজ জানে। বেতন ৩০ হাজারের মতো।

আমার জবাবটা ছিলো, আপনার job experience যখন ৪ ছিলো তখন কি আপনি সব বিষয়ে expert ছিলেন? উনি নিরোত্তর। আপনার ১১+ বছরের experience এ কি মনে হয় আপনি এখনো কমার্শিয়ালের সব কাজ সম্পর্কে জানেন? উনি এখানেও নিরোত্তর। আর সব কাজ যদি জেনেও তাকে সে কি ৩০ হাজার চাকায় রাজি হবে? উনি আর কিছু বললেন না এ ব্যাপারে।

তখন আমি বললাম, নিজে যে জিনিসটা ভালো করেই জানেন যে এই চাওয়াটা আলৌকিক সেটা নিয়ে কেন অহেতুক একটা ইস্যু তৈরি করেন। যোগ্য লোক বাজারে নাই কথাটা বলে এক শ্রেণির লোক যে বেহুদা চিল্লায়, কেন তাদের পালে বোকার মতো হাওয়া দিতে যান।

সবাইকে বলছি, হুজুগের চোটে মানুষকে বিচার করার আগে চিন্তা করুন যে আপনার বিচারিক ক্ষমতা কতটুকু।কতোটা যুক্তি অর্জন হয়েছে মানুষের ক্যারিয়ার নিয়ে কথা বলার।
