Phantom Forge – Dreams of Bangladesh

With immense gratitude and pride, Team Phantom Forge, representing Dreams of Bangladesh, achieved remarkable success at the I3C & IWC 2026.

Competing among 458 teams and more than 1,300 participants from 16 countries around the world, we were honored to receive the Gold Medal at I3C 2026, the Gold Medal at IWC 2026, and the prestigious Special Platinum Award.

These achievements reflect our commitment to innovation, teamwork, and the development of impactful solutions for global challenges. We sincerely thank our mentors, supporters, and well-wishers for their continuous encouragement throughout this journey.

This milestone strengthens our determination to keep innovating and proudly represent Bangladesh on the international stage.

Team BRACU Mongol-Tori has secured 7th place globally at the University Rover Challenge (URC) 2026 with a massive final score of 347.81.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has introduced a system to send auto-generated notices to vehicle owners and drivers for traffic violations identified through CCTV footage and still images across the city. The initiative, announced in a public notice signed by Acting DMP Commissioner Md Sarwar on May 3, targets offences such as driving without valid registration or fitness certificates, illegal parking, and activities that obstruct road movement.

According to the notice, individuals who receive these registered letters must pay fines through banks or mobile banking to resolve the case. The system aims to streamline enforcement and ensure accountability without requiring immediate on-site intervention by traffic officers.

DMP has also warned that failure to respond to the notice or appear before the relevant traffic division could result in legal consequences, including arrest warrants issued by Special Metropolitan Magistrates. To support this initiative, AI-powered software has been installed at key intersections and signals to automatically detect violations such as running red lights, crossing stop lines, driving in the wrong direction, improper roadside passenger pickup, and blocking the left lane.

The 8th Bangladesh National Round of the World Invention Competition and Exhibition 2026, proudly organized by Dream of Bangladesh, is set to take place on 9 May 2026 at Northern University Bangladesh (NUB). As the primary organizer, Dream of Bangladesh is playing a leading role in creating a national platform that nurtures innovation, creativity, and scientific thinking among young minds.

যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের ফ্লোরিডায় অনুষ্ঠিতব্য মর্যাদাপূর্ণ আন্তর্জাতিক রোবোটিক্স প্রতিযোগিতা 'RoboBoat 2026'-এ বাংলাদেশের প্রতিনিধিত্ব করতে যাচ্ছে একদল অদম্য তরুণ— টিম ‘DoB JolJan’ (Dreams of Bangladesh)।
১৭ জন মেধাবী তরুণ প্রকৌশলী ও গবেষকদের নিরলস পরিশ্রমে তৈরি হয়েছে এই ‘অটোনোমাস সারফেস ভেহিকল’ (ASV) বা স্বয়ংক্রিয় জলযান। অত্যাধুনিক জিপিএস নেভিগেশন ও কম্পিউটার ভিশন প্রযুক্তিতে সমৃদ্ধ এই রোবট নৌকাটি কোনো চালক ছাড়াই নিখুঁতভাবে চলতে সক্ষম। বিশেষ করে বন্যা বা জলোচ্ছ্বাসের মতো দুর্যোগে উদ্ধারকাজ ও তথ্য সংগ্রহে এটি রাখবে বৈপ্লবিক ভূমিকা।
