A dialogue: Importance/ Necessity of Tree plantation for 6, 7, 8, 9-10 & HSC

Durjoy: Assalamu Alaikum.
Bijoy: Walaikum Assalam. How are you, Durjoy?

Durjoy: Alhamdulillah. What about you?
Bijoy: Well, by the grace of Allah.

Durjoy: Where are you going now, my friend?
Bijoy: I am going to the nursery.

Durjoy: Nursery! But why?
Bijoy: To buy some saplings.

Durjoy: What will you do with the saplings?
Bijoy: I will plant them in my garden.

Durjoy: Are you serious?
Bijoy: Yes, I am serious about that. Trees are the most important element of our environment. They supply oxygen and receive carbon dioxide that we always leave.

Durjoy: What more?
Bijoy: Trees keep our ecological balance, protect the river from erosion, and shelter our beasts and birds.

Durjoy: Does it play any role in filling the demand for food?
Bijoy: Sure. It supplies us with all kinds of food we eat.

Durjoy: I do agree with you. But I see something more than oxygen and food.
Bijoy: What are those?

Durjoy: Furniture, fuel, and medicine. All these are part and parcel of our daily life.
Bijoy: I am grateful for sharing your valuable views and ideas.
