I attended Flutter Guild 2026 at Brain Station 23
Industry’র কিছু brilliant developer দের সাথে meet করা, ideas exchange করা, আর real engineering discussion থেকে শেখার experienceটা সত্যিই অনেক ভালো ছিল।
সবচেয়ে বেশি ভালো লেগেছে প্রথম দুইটা session। কিছু notes & takeaways শেয়ার করছি —
📌 Session 1 — Why Flutter apps feel slow and how to actually find it?
Speaker: Momshad Dinury Bhai
• Flutter performance অনেকটাই depend করে rendering pipeline বুঝার উপর
• 60 FPS মানে প্রতি frame এর জন্য প্রায় 16.7ms budget থাকে, এবং smooth rendering এর জন্য UI & Raster কাজগুলো এই time budget এর মধ্যে finish হতে হয়
• UI Thread → Raster Thread → GPU flow বুঝতে পারলে bottleneck identify করা অনেক easier হয়
• Different device (RAM, CPU, GPU) অনুযায়ী real-world performance behavior অনেক change হতে পারে
• Flutter DevTools দিয়ে frame jank, dropped frames, navigation related slowdown সহজে identify করা যায়
• Proper image caching rendering performance অনেক improve করতে পারে
• অনেক performance issue আসে ছোট ছোট decision থেকে:
- SingleChildScrollView ব্যবহার করা যেখানে ListView.builder বেশি appropriate
- build() method এর ভিতরে heavy operation রাখা
- improper image caching
• সবচেয়ে ভালো লেগেছে — session টা theory কম, practical problem finding নিয়ে বেশি focused ছিল (“how to actually find the problem”)
📌 Session 2 — Building with Agentic AI
Speaker: Utpal Barman Bhai
• AI development fast করে দিচ্ছে, but validation harder হয়ে যাচ্ছে
• Coding easier হচ্ছে, কিন্তু architecture & decision-making আরও important হয়ে উঠছে
• Architect vs Executor mindset টা অনেক insightful ছিল
• AI কে proper context দেয়া খুব important:
- project-level understanding
- memory/context
- reusable skills
- clear rules (do & don’t)
• Important habit:
AI কে blindly accept না করে “Why this?” জিজ্ঞেস করা
📌 Panel Discussion থেকে কিছু valuable point:
• Communication skill improve করা
• শুধু framework এর মধ্যে limited না থাকা
• Concepts deep dive করে শেখা
• Solution build করার আগে business domain বুঝা
• Implementation এ jump করার আগে problem properly understand করা
• শুধু coding না, thinking ability improve করা
• মাঝপথে project abandon না করে finish করা
• Business কিভাবে work করে সেটা শেখা
• Mistakes normal — important হলো সেখান থেকে শেখা
• AI era তে adaptability & soft skills অনেক important হয়ে যাচ্ছে
Overall, event টা আবার remind করিয়ে দিল —
Good engineering শুধু code লেখা না।
বরং problem বুঝা, thoughtful decision নেয়া, আর continuously শেখার নামই engineering।
