Urban Native Bees

Its winter but we still have a couple of these beautiful fire tail resin bees (Megachile mystaceana) hanging around building nests while I work. 😍😍

I have left the wax out to give her a little helping hand as the temperature drops.

Rain couldn't stop the Tamborine Mountain Garden Club this week! 🌧️🌻

We had an amazing turnout of members who braved the weather to dive into the fascinating, secret life of bees.
