I’m absolutely buzzing to be facilitating a full house, Lived Experiece Project workshop tomorrow in my hometown, with the assistance of Kat Kat !!! It’s always powerful when people come together to learn, reflect, and push for real inclusion, and I can’t wait to bring that energy into the room.

A massive thank you to the City of Greater Geelong for championing this work, and an extra‑special shout‑out to Ruth for her incredible support and as always the amazing support of Jessie Glasson. Your encouragement and belief in the impact of these conversations means the world.

Let’s make tomorrow bold, meaningful, and full of momentum ✨
Here’s to creating change together!

Its 's time to Chillout! What a beautiful launch to the Chillout festival, watching these gorgeous primary school kids on stage dancing their hearts out with some amazing drag queens, and everybody just happy about it all! We heard from the Mayor Cr Tony Clark, and the commissioner for Lgbtqia+ Joe Ball who always speaks so passionately.
I do want to mention how great it has been already to see so much accessibility and safety for people with disability, there is always room to improve but geez they are getting things done very well here.

There is something about that completely overflows my cup! The people are always so happy, the energy is electric and the freedom to just be yourself is everywhere. We were so blessed to meet and chat with so many wonderful people.
Thanks Kat Kat for sharing the stall with MandaMae -The Lived Experience Project and keeping the PRIDE culture so strong at Liberty Disability Services

Manda Mae – The Lived Experience Project was an incredible success at The Better Together Conference Adelaide. The goal was impact, and we achieved it. Across the workshop we held big conversations, ones that shifted perspectives, opened hearts, and honoured deep truths. I witnessed powerful moments of vulnerability, courage, and connection, and I’ll carry them with me always.
I’m grateful to everyone who attended, especially those who shared so generously. Your voices matter, and your stories are the heartbeat of this work.
A massive shoutout to my amazing friend Merrin Wake your support across the entire weekend and workshop was invaluable. And to Metasebia, thank you for your wisdom and presence in the workshop space. You both helped create something truly special.

For all of my friends, family and loved ones that were not able to attend, I hope that the space once known for safety and connection can return to that place of trust. Change is possible and our community deserves spaces that honour the strength and diversity we bring.

Here’s to lived experience, collective growth, and the kind of change that starts with conversations from the heart.

Busy week of networking and reconnecting! I kicked things off at the Geelong Chamber of Commerce Connecting event with great vibes, meaningful chats, and even a few familiar faces. I attended a few great Geelong Small Business Festival events and then it was off to Melbourne for the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Business After Dark at the RACV City Club. So many inspiring conversations, new connections, and exciting possibilities ahead! Thanks Wendy for being my network buddy!
