Mac's Maintenance

I was recently asked what do I think about before I sing my beautiful ballad in We Will Rock You WA, because it looks like I really mean what I’m singing...

So I thought I’d share a little insight.
As the dialogue in this section starts getting deep and more meaningful I look to the top row and imagine three special people watching me.
My two cousins Edward & Lawrence (brothers) who were 25 & 16 when they were tragically taken from us nearly 20 years ago and my friend Josh who died when he was 21 playing a sport he loved.

I imagine them being proud of me, and knowing they’re there with me ALWAYS brings a lump to my throat and water to my eyes.
Sometimes I have to let them go from my minds eye quickly because if I’m not careful, ALL THE EMOTIONS kick in and I’ll end up a blubbering mess on stage.

It looks like I mean it because I really do mean it...
