This is what some might say a political one, but for me, it's truth.
It's my truth, along with hundreds of other women and children across Australia.
There is a major societal issue happening in this country, and as far as im concerned, it's been a widespread issue for as long as I've been alive.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!
But this song is not just about Domestic Violence, its about the culture of Boys and men who were never taught how to be better, who believed they could just take what they wanted from a woman regardless of consent.
It's about that age-old saying that still gets thrown around. "Boys will be boys".
Well, as the song goes...
Why do we whisper when our stories scream?
