💫 Introducing our PD Guests: Tyrone Earl Lraé Robinson 💫
Tyrone Earl Lraé Robinson is an award-winning Perth-based dancer, choreographer, teacher, mentor, curator, and dramaturg, working across contemporary dance and physical theatre. Practising professionally since 2010, Tyrone has collaborated with independent artists and companies both nationally and internationally.
In 2021, Tyrone co-founded OFF-base Dance alongside long-time collaborator Shuling Wong. Established as a platform for culturally and creatively diverse contemporary dance, OFF-base Dance has since presented three original works in Perth — YOU ARE, Madre Muerte, and ACID TRIP — each receiving multiple awards, nominations, and strong public response. Through OFF-base, Tyrone continues to develop ambitious new work while contributing to the growth of Australia’s independent dance landscape.
Tyrone will be one of our panelists for 'Using Technology and Innovation in Dance – Different Approaches by Local Makers' at our upcoming secondary dance PD day. Join Tyrone for an exploration of their surrealist contemporary dance practice and the integration of technology & multidisciplinary forms in works like ACID TRIP and Madre Muerte. They will also share insights into their upcoming project SYM and the future of their performance art and dance works here in the Perth.

💫 Introducing our PD Guests: Candice D'Adamo 💫
Candice D’Adamo is a passionate dance educator and specialist with over 16 years of teaching experience.
Candice is the Co-Director of The Brothahood - a Boys Dance Education Program developed to address a clear gap in dance opportunities for boys in Perth and the wider dance community. The program focuses on co-curricular boys’ dance experiences, while also extending into curriculum-based primary dance programs designed for co-educational classes. She is deeply committed to creating high-energy, inclusive learning environments where all students can thrive, particularly those who learn differently.
Candice will lead our first workshop at the Beyond Boundaries: Teaching Secondary Dance PD. The workshop is designed to engage boys in the dance curriculum, however her teachings can be adapted for all students who lack motivation and will add to teachers’ strategies for engaging their class.
