The newly upgraded playground celebrates Mardalup Park as a place where families can connect with nature, culture and the Swan River. Shaped by community feedback, the new design reflects what we heard through the engagement process and the City’s commitment to creating vibrant, family-friendly spaces for everyone to enjoy.

Nature Play Solutions was proud to design and construct this engaging outdoor play area for Kinderpark early learning centre in Byford North, bringing together natural elements, custom equipment and purposeful play.

Featuring beautifully crafted pieces by LyPa Australia , the space includes a growers garden filled with herbs and vegetables, a theatre for imaginative play, water pump, slides, stepping stones, a wooden bridge and more all surrounded by native planting to create a calming, nature-based environment.

Designed with year-round use in mind, the shade play areas ensures children can safely enjoy the space in all seasons. Natural play environments like this support creativity, gross motor skills and sensory exploration, giving little ones the freedom to learn through play every day.
