Recently I have had a series of "shake the head" moments.
I can trace it exactly. Where what I do, who I am, who I was, and who I am yet to be have collided into a true understanding of my connections to every element of my art.
It is no accident I am in this place of creativity.

The depth of my understanding is 3 pages worth, so a little much for this platform! Maybe another day.

My landscapes, like life, have multiple view points. From a distance your eyes can scan and skip, but get up close and you will see the intricate details tightly fused together. The mess of the detail making up the whole thing of beauty.
They cannot be separated.
That wool and silk have fallen into my hands and become a medium to paint is once again no accident.

None of these delicious understandings consciously guided me until this year. Now it all makes perfect sense.
It was there all the time. Through me and all those who's life hums in my bones. Lifelines and timelines of place.
