This year, our head roaster, Marte, made her annual trip to MICE—Melbourne International Coffee Expo.

Honoured to be invited by Cofinet to celebrate Women in Coffee, Marte had the privilege of brewing an exceptional Colombian coffee by Luz Helena Salazar — a beautiful origin we carefully roast here at Karvan Coffee.

Beyond the cup, MICE is where the world of coffee comes together — farmers, suppliers, innovators, and industry leaders all under one roof. Fresh ideas, emerging trends, and the kind of connections that only happen in a room full of people who truly love what they do.

Marte brings all of that energy, inspiration, and knowledge back home to us and that's what keeps Karvan Coffee growing. A huge thank you, Marte, for representing us so proudly. We're grateful to have you.

Seasonal Blend 1 is built on a simple idea — to present the very best flavours each origin has to offer this season.

Each coffee is individually sourced for its high cupping scores before being carefully brought together. We roast each origin separately to honour its unique character, then blend them to create something greater than the sum of their parts.

Sourcing:
Vietnam Son La SC16 | Guatemala Fibca El Durazno | Honduras Mario Mejia

Expect rich maple syrup sweetness with deep baker's cocoa and warming spice, creating a bold, full-bodied espresso with lingering complexity and balance. Proudly awarded Bronze in the Milk-Based category at the Golden Bean Coffee Roaster Competition.

Exclusively poured at:
Leaf Bean Machine
Big Loaf Factory Bakery in O'Connor

Introducing Karvan Seasonal Blend 1:
A bold and expressive cup celebrating the best of Vietnam, Guatemala, and Honduras. Expect maple syrup, baker's cocoa, and warming spice, with a lingering sweetness and beautifully balanced depth.

Vietnam Son La SC16 | Washed
Grown at 600–1,050 metres in Son La's mountainous terrain, selectively picked and meticulously washed for a clean, structured cup with green apple, warm spice, orange, and herbal notes.

Guatemala Finca El Durazno | Washed
Five generations of the Castillo family have farmed these volcanic highlands of Santa Rosa since 1893, producing coffees bright with red apple, lime, and soft stone fruits.

Honduras Mario Mejía | Natural
Second-generation farmer Mario Mejía tends three microclimates across the misty highlands of La Paz, delivering naturally processed lots rich in dark chocolate, jammy apple, and mild caramel.

This beautifully balanced blend delivers a spiced warmth with just the right sweetness to keep you coming back.

Sixteen years ago, Karvan Coffee was born from a simple idea and a caravan trip.

With a love for the open road and a passion for exceptional coffee, Brad and I set out to create something that could travel with them. Coffee crafted with care, quality, and purpose, wherever the journey led. What began as a caravan adventure grew into something far greater: a business built on community, craftsmanship, and a relentless pursuit of excellence in every cup.

Last weekend, for the first time, we sat quietly in the café and looked toward the heart of what we’ve built and said, “Look at what we created.” Reflecting on the journey has been filled with laughter, a few tears, and immense pride.

As we prepare to return to the road and continue our own caravan adventure, the time has come to pass the torch. We’re delighted to share that Karavn coffee will now be in the hands of another West Australian couple, Shaun and Emily Tonkinson, who share the same deep commitment to quality coffee and community.

What does this mean for you?

*Stability – The team you know and love will be here to keep spoiling you, and Shaun and Emily are committed to keeping the business running as the well loved family business that it is.

*Same Quality – We are pleased to have remained a family owned business with owners who have the same high standards as us.

Over the years, we’ve received messages from customers across Australia and around the world. It’s a reminder that great coffee connects people and that connection has always been at the heart of Karvan Coffee.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of this journey. Your support over the past 16 years has meant everything to us.

Shaun and Emily are excited to meet you in the coming weeks, and we’ll be here until the end of May to ensure a smooth handover. So please drop in for a coffee and say hello before then.

As we head back onto the open road, Karvan Coffee continues with us, just as it began, driven by a love for the journey and a commitment to exceptional quality, wherever we go.

With love and gratitude,
Fleur & Brad Cassidy

A real favourite of ours.

Jean Vilhena's Fazenda Santa Monica sits at 1,300 metres in Alta Mogiana, where Catuai 99 cherries undergo 60 hours of anaerobic fermentation in sealed barrels with selected yeasts - a process that draws out rich nougat and hazelnut sweetness, lifted by a bright thread of orange.

Clean, considered, and deeply satisfying in the cup.

Order yours through our online store while it lasts.

With Monday's public holiday, we've packed a full week of roasting into four days, and our team absolutely smashed it.

Extra batches, tight schedules, and zero compromise on quality. That's what happens when you've got a crew who genuinely loves what they do.

Fresh coffee heading out the door, new venues stocked and ready to open, and another week done right.

Thanks to our incredible roasting crew for making it happen. You're the reason we can keep delivering fresh, exceptional coffee every single week.
