Well, well. Two nominations for music act of the year with Ivory Dusk.
So grateful to be considered and genuinely wondering who nominated us, thank you so much if you are reading this.
We received a nomination for Rock and the Heavy/Metal categories.

This was a great group of people to play music with, it really was Daniel Bainbridge and friends :P
So many talented young musicians in Great Southern Region, some already performing, it's great to see!

Stoked! Ivory Dusk is being considered for WAM Song Of The Year in not one but two categories for our latest single Just Defy.
1. Heavy/Metal
2. Punk/Hardcore
Really thankful for those who are enjoying the song. We are really proud of this one being the first song recorded as a five piece with our new bass legend Sam Heidenberg.
We have now had 5 songs over the last 3 years make top 20 and made a top 5 last year with Whisper.
Maybe this is the year we bring it home?

Studio Magic?
Here is yesterday's guitar solo with dual guitar and effects.
I have provided the original audio from the video recording in the second playthrough (copy/pasted video).
As you can see, my playing was not crash hot but I recorded the two guitar parts you hear in the first playthrough in recording software.
I then made a new video, I couldn't use yesterday's as it was played 'off the cuff' where as this video I had backing track and a click.
I then put the in time video and the two audio recordings and sync'd them up in a video editing software.
Pretty neat! This is literally my first time going through this whole process correctly, so I am pretty excited about what I can make with it.
