A Question of Trust—And the Answer in Action
Trust is a fragile thing. It isn’t built on words alone—it needs proof, something real, something you can see with your own eyes.
I’ve spent years perfecting my craft, ensuring that every home I step into is treated with the same care I’d give my own. Most of my clients understand this from the start. They read the reviews, they hear the recommendations, and they know—they can trust me.
But every now and then, someone hesitates.
The call came in the afternoon. A potential client—curious, cautious. Her voice carried that familiar mix of interest and hesitation. She had questions, as they all do. I answered each one, steady, certain.
And then, a pause.
"I understand you use powerful truck-mounted equipment," she said, carefully choosing her words. "You have to bring in hoses, already connected. Doesn’t that mean you’ll be dragging them through my house? Won’t they scrape the walls, mark the baseboards, damage the furniture?"
I let the silence settle between us before replying.
"Have you read any reviews about my service?" I asked. "Has anyone ever mentioned damage?"
She hesitated. Then, softly: "No."
Of course not. Because when I step into a client’s home, it is not just a job—it is a responsibility. A space filled with memories, quiet comforts, irreplaceable things. I know this. I respect it.
And yet, she was unconvinced. I could hear it in the way the conversation slowed, in the way her voice lost warmth. A moment later, she was gone.
Some people need more than words.

Today, a question came through on my Google My Business profile that made me stop and reflect - "How did you achieve such a high rating in carpet cleaning?" It's a great question and I thought I'd share my answer with you all here.
