Yellow Fever F. C.

We finally made it!!! Champions!!!
Yo Fever fans!
So much has happened since our last weekly report. Starting with an anonymous request asking for the Yellow Fever to be upgrade to a higher grade. And finishing after long hours of meetings and negotiations between Lords’ chief executive Jason and the Yellow Fever’s captain Fabz. Both have agreed that Yellow Fever will remain in the Grade E until the end of the current competition. “It was the right thing to do. We could not take advantage of turning tables (?!!! Hahaha!!!) to make our way to the top Grade” – Fabz commented.
With everything set on the right place it was time for Yellow Fever to get back into action this time playing against a very promising young team called Lichuid Henjineeiring.
Match started with Febre taking total control of the ball possession with players doing a very good job passing the ball around from one player to another. However this time they were failing in having a crack on the goal. With more then halftime past Yellow Fever hadn’t given a single kick on goal. There was something missing and that little detail could put the Febre into the lead. A few more minutes past and Marcos finally broke trough finding the way to back of the net, 1 x 0 and Yellow Fever was in front. Lesson learnt and the Febre didn’t take long to double up with Marcos scoring his second goal and giving a little relief for the Fever players, 2 x 0. But, the young guns didn’t feel the hit and seconds before the halftime they scored their first goal, 2 x 1.
Second half started and Fever players knew they had to score more goals or they could suffer the consequences later in the game. The opposite team was full of youngsters with enough energy to run two marathons in a roll! With that in mind Febre players started to attempt to score using long-range kicks. And one of the tries Fabz beat the goalkeeper scoring the third, 3 x 1. Unfortunately for the Febre team the brave young boys didn’t give up and came back scoring another goal, 3 x 2.
Yellow Fever players were getting tired and they knew they could not waste any chances or they could loose the clash. Lichuid Henjineeiring goalkeeper was a giant under the bars doing anything he could to stop the Febre players from scoring. After a few attempts a great counter attack came together for the Febre and this time the goalkeeper nothing could do to stop Fabz from scoring, 4 x 2. The victory started to take its shape with three more goals to be scored by Alex, Vitor and Marcos, 7 x 2. There was still remaining time for the young fellas to score another goal after a nice move from their players, 7 x 3, and that was the final result.
“We got right at the end. But we gotta admit this young guys are very promising. They may cause a few upsets in this tournament” – Alex declared.
Yellow Fever remains unbeatable winning all six games out of six. What will happen next, will the Gormanators be able to stop the Febre? What is gonna be the outcome of the next week’s game? Wait and see!
Thanks for all the Yellow Fever supporters!
See you next time.
