Wilco Electrical

"He's probably one of the best work experience students I've supervised over the years." High praise from one of our supervisors – and thoroughly deserved.
Francesco (Frank) Woital - a proud descendant of the Alla-Marra people from Arnhem Land - joined the Wilco team for a week’s work experience and impressed everyone with his positive attitude, eagerness to learn and genuine interest in the electrical trade.
Work experience can be a great way to spark an interest, build confidence and help young people find pathways into the electrical industry. At Wilco, we're pleased to be able to provide those opportunities.
Thanks for spending the week with us, Frank. Keep asking questions, keep learning, and all the best for whatever comes next. 👏

National Sorry Day is an acknowledgement of one of the darkest chapters in Australia’s history - the forced removal of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children from their families, communities, Country, and culture under past government policies of assimilation.
Today, we remember this history and recognise the pain and loss that continues to be carried by Stolen Generation survivors, their families and communities.
Here on Noongar Country at places such as the Stolen Generations Memorial at Wellington Square, people gather to remember and stand beside those impacted.
Organisations including the Healing Foundation, Bringing Them Home WA, YOKAI, and Wungening Aboriginal Corporation continue important work in truth-telling, healing, and support.
