Steve Wellard elected as new councillor of City of Perth Cr Wellard was elected to the Perth City council on Friday night following the city’s $74,000 extraordinary election to replace outgoing councillor Brent Fleeton.

Waking up to Day 1️⃣ working for the ratepayers, business owners & visitors of our magnificent capital city 🙌🙌

Thanks again to all those who voted & supported me through not just during this campaign but over almost a decade of volunteer community work & advocacy.

A huge shout out to this elections runners up Shirley, Adam, Jason & Dave who all performed really well in the primary count. Its promising to see so many fantastic community advocates putting their hand up to join the City of Perth Council team 👏👏👏👏
