Bolt Cold Drip - a great drink for a refreshing, but caffeinated, summer hit! ☕️🔩💥

The Tiamo Cold Drip tower is one of the funkiest and delicious ways of brewing cold coffee - we’ve been obsessed for years! This contraption lives at our Bayswater Roastery but the Cold Drip is available to order from the Middy Cafe!��🌡️Temperature plays a key role in the tastiness factor of this beverage! Cold Drip is smoother and less acidic than coffee brewed with hot water. It has a heavier body and richer flavour than a standard cold brew, whilst maintaining the same delicious coffee notes you get from a good roast.

The top reservoir slowly drips iced water over the bed of ground coffee, which is then filtered through into the bottom vessel which collects the brewed coffee. This slow process amounts to less than 1 drip per second over 12 hours!

A staple on our menu since 2022, a cup of Cold drip is $5.50 and is served in an 8oz cup over ice. ✨ ask us for a taste at the cafe next time you are in!
