Huge thanks to for ferrying us around and providing a sneak preview of upcoming releases including a mind numbing Grenache with echoes of Rayas! Stunning wine, amongst a raft of new whites that have opened my eyes to regions versatility.

Bit of Nomads love from the Young Gun of Wine Cru, with their feature on Australia's Best Pinot Meunier. About half the price of the others in the running too, just quietly.

Out of all the meunier I tasted today, this would be my favourite food wine, especially with duck.” “A wonderfully savoury nose of forest floor, mushrooms, cranberry, and a subtle hint of spice, noted Darling. “The palate shows leather, ash, raspberry bush and a masterful use of stem giving spice to the palate that is balanced perfectly as part of the overall experience in the glass. It’s so easy for this character to become overpowering or stick out in the glass but it is crafted well in this wine and is in perfect harmony with fruit, tannin and acid. There is a lot of finesse in this wine.
