Why Designers should visit site BEFORE the job hands over.

You would think this is something that happens all the time right? An Interior Designer going onsite to check progress on their creation.

Sadly no. I mean we are kept bus to our eyeballs in office work and client meetings so much that getting to site does significantly chew into our week. However, we believe it is a critical part of the job.

In our experience, not all builders execute in the exact same way, and certainly not every house is the same! Which means there is always opportunity to learn and explore new ways of doing things.

We are better for our clients when we keep current with whats going on during construction and it actually helps provide broader creativity when we better understand the limitations and opportunities across different methods and materials, which are always evolving.

This morning I was onsite with the Jewelbic lads ensuring we had the most appropriate solution for our client.

While it was an early start for a Designer to be up at tradie hours, the sunrise made it all worth it 🌅 and we love collaborating with our construction teams 👷🏻‍♀️👷‍♂️
