๐Ÿ“ฃ MPOX OUTBREAK in WA ๐Ÿ“ฃ

There has been an increase in locally acquired cases, including people who have not previously been considered at high-risk of mpox.

Anyone who is s*xually active and experiencing mpox symptoms is encouraged to get tested.

People who are s*xually active should be aware of symptoms. Anyone who thinks they may be at high-risk, including those who attend s*x parties or s*x-on-premises venues, should speak to their clinician about getting vaccinated.

If you have a ge***al lesion, you should consider whether it could possibly be mpox โ€“ if you are unsure, call HealthDirect on 1800 022 222 or our Sexual Health Helpline on 9227 6178 from 9.30am Tuesday.

To book an appointment, call us on 9227 6177 or visit shq.org.au
