It’s no secret that Denzel Washington has always been a man of faith, and encountered God when he was in his 20s after visiting a church with his good friend ⛪

He stated in 1999: "A part of me still says, 'Maybe, Denzel, you're supposed to preach. Maybe you're still compromising.' I've had an opportunity to play great men and, through their words, to preach. I take what talent I've been given seriously, and I want to use it for good.”

Apparently he received his ministry license in a ceremony that took place on Dec 21! So, this is definitely a Denzember to remember!! 🎄😮

Denzel also celebrated his 70th birthday on 28 Dec! 🎂🎉
