10 days. 130km. From 2,860m to 5,364m.

What that really means: gaining over 500m in elevation day after day, while your body adapts to just 50% of the oxygen you’d have at sea level. Just imagine yourself hiking for hours on hours. To then try sleep, recover and wake up to it all again only with thinner air and in harsh conditions.

Our athletes, Ian and Lachy reached Everest Base Camp today, where they’ll spend two nights before they begin the 4-day journey back down.
