We’re fortunate to have two of WA’s top fertility specialists on our team leading the science, Dr Sebastian Leathersich and Dr Melanie Walls.

🩺Dr Leathersich is a highly respected Specialist Gynaecologist and Certified Specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI), a qualification held by only two other practising doctors in WA.

He brings world-class, evidence-based care to individuals and couples, with a special focus on:

🧬Our Scientific Director Dr Melanie Walls is a highly skilled Embryologist and Scientific Director with nearly 20 years of IVF experience in WA. She is one of only two people in the state to hold a PhD focused on Oocyte (Egg) maturation and development.

She also holds key roles across the fertility field, including Adjunct Senior Lecturer at UWA and member of the WA Health PGT Committee.

As a former IVF patient and proud mum to Elsie and Finn, Mel understands the journey personally and is passionate about supporting patients and maximising success at Concept.
