Spent my morning cleaning the Airbnb early so a guest travelling with kids and no car could check in hours before the normal time.
Definitely not something that’s always possible… but today it was, and I knew it would make a stressful travel day a little easier for her.
I think customer service is really just caring enough to notice the little things.
And honestly, that’s how I try to approach everything I do. 🤍

Since the budget announcement, I’ve had multiple conversations with investors trying to work out what this means for them.
One client thought they now had until July 2027 to sell before losing the current capital gains rules entirely.
And honestly, that conversation highlighted something important…
People are making emotional decisions based on headlines before fully understanding how these changes actually work.
As both an investor and an agent, I don’t think these changes suddenly stop people investing.
But I do think they change behaviour.
And I’m not convinced many long-term investors will automatically pivot into outer-suburban house and land simply because the tax settings changed.
Because experienced investors still look at fundamentals:
location, land value, scarcity, growth potential and long-term demand.
That’s the bigger conversation I think we need to be having.
