This is where it started.⁣
⁣
My first ever wedding MC gig… for my sister Kristen and my brother-in-law Aaron. At the time I almost pulled out and didn’t think I could handle it - which is very ironic now 😅⁣
⁣
What gets me is this…⁣
Back then I was okay. I did a solid job. Guests gave me great feedback things.⁣
⁣
But that one YES… that one moment of doing the scary thing anyway… ended up becoming a key part of my world for the past 5 years.⁣
⁣
Fast forward and I’ve now MC’d hundreds of weddings and events. And it’s wild to say this out loud but… now it feels like I could do it in my sleep. Not because it’s easy. Because I finally became the version of me that doesn’t flinch when opportunity knocks and I just have to jump two feet in.⁣
⁣
So here’s the reminder I needed today — maybe you do too:⁣
Sometimes the thing you’re nervous to try…⁣
is the thing that ends up changing your life.⁣
⁣
Jump before you’re ready. Say yes while your hands are shaking and your stomach is in knots. You don’t need confidence first. You just need a decision.⁣
