Bush and Craft

🌿 Hello, I will not be doing regular Bush and Craft classes this year as I have a full schedule homeschooling my 13 year old daughter and working/volunteering in the community. I may offer one-off classes later in the year. Until then, I wish you a wonderful time and and plenty of time in nature and crafting! 🌿

🌿🍂 This week we are making coiled baskets with the leaves of the Watsonia plant, at Bush and Craft - Kallaroo

🌿🍂 Watsonia is a vigorous 'w**d' in Western Australia, found in areas close to water. Its leaves are beautiful and soft, perfect for coiled basketry and weaving.

🌿🍂 BUSH AND CRAFT - Term 4

🌿🍂 A nature and craft drop off program for children aged 12 and above

🌿🍂 Wednesday October 11 to Wednesday December 13, 10 am to 2 pm

🌿🍂 $30 per class, per child

🌿🍂 Activities (dependant on weather, material availability, etc) may include - fire by friction, weaving, dye fabric, filter and purify water, distil water, paper making, bow making, flower press, cuttings/harvest/dry/store seed, shelter building, w**ds and natives foraging, etc.
