And it blows my mind that this isn’t a CRITICAL SKILL women are taught in school🤯
🙋♀️ Excuse me education system, but pleeeease tell me something more important than knowing how to get pregnant or avoid pregnancy as a woman…
Okkkk this wasn’t meant to be a rant about our educational system but it’s happened now 🤣
Anyway! This information is extremely VALUABLE and EMPOWERING for women to know❗️

To summarise, tracking ovulation uses two important metrics:
1️⃣ Fertile Cervical Mucus
2️⃣ Basal Body Temperature
When we confirm ovulation, we confirm our fertile window, which spans for approximately 5 days before ovulation and 1 day after - 6-7 days in total.
🤔 Why would we want to know when we ovulate:
A) To conceive
B )To use the natural form of contraception known as the Fertility Awareness Method (my fave contraception ever)
C) To understand your body and cycle better (it can tell you a lot about your health)

‼️ What we should have been taught at school ‼️
THE SIGNS OF OVULATION 🥚
1️⃣ Fertile Cervical Mucus
2️⃣ Increased Basal Body Temperature
3️⃣ Increased Libido
4️⃣ Increased Confidence, Energy, and Youthful Appearance
5️⃣ Generally 14 days before your period - this is only helpful if you have a regular cycle which you can count back from. If your cycle is irregular, or varies a lot, don’t rely on this method.
