This study examines the benefits of iron treatments on iron-deficient non-anemic endurance athletes. A meta-analysis of 17 studies revealed significant improvements in iron status and aerobic capacity from iron treatments.

๐Ÿ”น Large improvements in serum ferritin (sFer), serum iron (sFe), and transferrin saturation (Tsat).
