Big news for KB Seafood Co.

From 1 July 2026, we’ll be taking over operations at the Indian Ocean Rock Lobster processing facility in Cervantes, Western Australia.

This is an exciting step for us and a long term investment in the West Coast Rock Lobster industry, the region and the people behind it.

A key part of this transition is welcoming the Indian Ocean Rock Lobster processing team into KB Seafood Co. Keeping that experience, culture and those relationships with fishers, customers and suppliers is incredibly important to us.

We’ve always had a lot of respect for the Thompson family and the business they’ve built. We’re proud to continue that legacy while they focus on their fishing operations and growing The Lobster Shack.

For KB, this also marks a step change in capability, effectively doubling our processing output.

We were proud to exhibit at the Woolworths Trade Show last week, showcasing our Just Caught frozen seafood range available in Woolworths stores. It was a great opportunity to connect with Woolworths teams, share samples, and highlight our quality, convenient seafood options. 🐟
