I initially went to a nursery with 3 plants in mind; Blue Chalksticks, Dichondra Silver Falls & Cousin It.... The sales rep at this particular garden centre scolded us for even suggesting plants that weren't native to WA. As a result, I walked away with 101 RANDOM native plants and no idea how to care for them.

Back to the drawing board... We sourced the plants we wanted from amazing nurseries and put the right planning into soil and retic, and now, as a result, we have the greenest of gardens in the whole street!

It's an investment, but having a bore system has paid for itself many times over! We are lucky to live in a suburb where the water is clear so there is no iron residue staining!

Still absolutely obsessing over all the pieces currently in our bedroom. The perfect oasis with all the right texture. All the boys in the house are currently having a nap (yes, including the old husband). It's a perfect excuse for a cocktail, no?

Tomorrow my little milky mate is 5 months old. They aren't joking when they say blink and you'll miss it!

The office is collecting a little bit of dust at the moment and I tell you what I am not even mad about it.

The days are morphing into each other at the moment but gosh we have had a busy weekend sorting the house and garden... 3 more sleeps before Oma and Opa arrive from NZ! So another day of sorting the house and baby snugs.
