This week at Zenith Energy’s operating solar farm at Peel Business Park, Murdoch University deployed an autonomous ground robot — the Clearpath Husky — to navigate through the site and capture thermal imagery in real time.

To train a machine learning model capable of identifying solar panel defects automatically, supporting smarter inspections and preventative maintenance.

Not every scenario can be simulated in a lab. Real-world testing inside a live renewable energy facility accelerates innovation and improves asset performance.
