Today, I am glad to say I have caught up on a number of events, but still very much behind on one of them! Murray Eventing Inc ODE images are my priority today. With over 2,000 online I still have about 2,500 to get through. Stay tuned to the stories today for updates as I start getting through the remaining classes.

Over the last little while, I have been quietly watching a bond form. A new partnership between a young lady and her young horse. I have watched them in training and competition. I have witnessed some of the disappointment along their journey and I have been so incredibly fortunate to capture many of the highlights too.

This young rider and her very green young horse have come so far since their first outing. Queenswood Harlequin is Maddy's first young horse to bring on. And watching her celebrate their success together has been amazing. But what I have found truly inspiring is seeing Maddy's guidance and careful hand when beautiful, big Quin is unsure or has young horse moments. She always stays steady and consistent, offering clear and kind guidance to help Quin.

Maddy doesn't know I'm making this post. She doesn't know that I'm offering her all of her photos from Interschool and the Jill Stanton Dressage on me yet. Because one of my favourite parts of being an equestrian photographer, in addition to being able to capture the journey, is being able to celebrate and support horse men and women that I notice going above and beyond, quietly working away on their own journey toward their goals and also putting back into their sport. Between Maddy and her Mum, Regina, I see this happening at every single event or training day they attend.

Well done, Maddy! You are such a brilliant young horsewoman and I am confident you will succeed in all your dreams and goals you set your mind to!
