Thanks to everyone who joined us on Sunday for our show at the mighty Howler Melbourne, with superb tech support from Luke Tastybass Woollett. Thanks to the fabulous Paris Martine for booking us, Stella Paisley for keeping us administrated, and to our gorgeous line-up of speakers that had us laughing, crying and - frankly - swooning! If you didn't hear the formatively q***r stories from Lucy Schmidt, Davey Thompson, Cerise Howard, Sam Elkin, Patrck Kelly and Christos Tsiolkas, or experience the antics of host Stayci Taylor, you missed something special. Today’s the day! Excited to be bringing six great storytellers and a crowd to Howler Melbourne! There are still _some_ tickets left so come for the q***r stories, stay for the burger special! Doors open 1pm.
Thinking of our dearly departed Darryl W. Bullock today and how thrilled he would be to hear My Formative Qu**rs is getting its next run! Looking forward to celebrating his legacy, which includes the significant contribution to LGBTQIA+ music 'David Bowie Made Me Gay' (2017, Abrams Press), hailed as the first book to cover the breadth of history of recorded music by and for the q***r community. Sunday arvo at Howler Melbourne!
