Last night our gorgeous floppy lop-eared brothers Puddles and Zephyr officially began their next chapter and left for their forever home together, and we couldn’t be happier for them.

Born in care on the 8th of December, these two sweet hearts have spent their days side by side, and there is something incredibly special about knowing they will continue that journey together, surrounded by love, kindness, and a family who truly sees how precious they are.

Like all the BFFR animals, we knew Puddles and Zephyr deserved a home where they would never be overlooked, never go without, where their personalities could shine, and where they would be valued for the beautiful individuals they are.

Seeing them leave with their new family gave us the feeling every rescue hopes for, the feeling of knowing without any doubt that these boys are going to be loved, protected, and cherished for the rest of their lives. This is exactly why we keep saying yes to helping the next animal in need.

For every challenging moment, every worry, and every time we wonder how we can possibly affort to help more precious animals, there are moments like this. Moments where we get to see animals who needed us find the loving family they always deserved.

Thank you to Puddles and Zephyr’s new humans for opening your hearts and home to these two gorgeous boys. We are very much looking forward to seeing all the happy memories you all create together.
