Develop your science communication skills in a supportive environment and compete for cash prizes at the 2026 No-Bell Prize competition!

PhD & Masters by Research students from across MDHS are invited to take part and pitch their research in a clear and accessible way.

Attend our free communications workshop on July 7, submit a 90-second video by 26 July and compete for $2,500 in prizes at the final on 1 October.

This year’s theme, Health Across Borders: Collaboration in a Divided World, explores how public health can continue to bridge divides and strengthen cooperation across regions, sectors, and systems in an increasingly complex global landscape.

Join us for an evening panel featuring experts discussing how global tensions, political and economic shifts, and emerging technologies are reshaping collaboration in public health. There will also be opportunities to network across disciplines, connect with speakers, and enjoy catered food following the panel.
