Today is R U OK? Day... For some, we may instinctively brush off the question as all is well in our world, however for others, there may not be a straightforward or easy answer.

It may be the ideal time to ask yourself. We are all busy, but spending five minutes with yourself could be the best self-care you do all week.

For those asking - if you receive an answer that you don't expect, listen. Don't jump in with a solution. You have been trusted to see your companion's vulnerability. A good follow-up question is "What do you need from me today?"
