The best week of the year is here! Cooly Rocks On - Rock And Roll And Hot Rod Festival 💃🚗starts tomorrow, Wednesday 3 Jun through to Sunday 7 Jun which means our local meet up at Greenmount Carkpark will be roped off.

If you are able to din a park in the back streets, a few up is will be meeting at Rainbow Bay 🌈 surf tower at 6:15 am so we can be in the water when the sun 🌞 pops up.

With Anzac Day being tomorrow, there will be no official Salty Session on.

I encourage everyone to support our Veterans and attend a dawn service - then go for a surf 🏄‍♀️

The Dawn Service at Elephant Rock, Currumbin starts at 4:55 am and will be televised on Channel 9’s Today Show. You might see a familiar face 😊

Some days are tougher than others… and today was one of the toughest.

This morning the Greenmount Crew kicked off their new Salty Sessions, a new format for the Super Fluro Saturday’s we’ve shared for the past nine years. Truth be told, we don’t always wear much fluro on the outside anymore — but it still lives bright on the inside.

Today wasn’t about the fluro though. Today was about showing up for one of our own.

One of our beautiful regulars (you can see her surfboard with the helmet resting on it) came down to the beach less than 36 hours after losing her son in a motorcycle accident — only six months after losing her youngest son.

She came because she knew we would be there.

She knew there would be warm hugs, quiet support, and a community that would hold her when words weren’t enough.

That’s what OneWave is about.
