As parents/ adults / caregivers we cannot
1. Bury our head in the sand and assure ourselves it will never happen to our children. ignorance is not bliss it is dangerous.
2.Continue to think that kids websites and kids games are ok. what your child watches and plays online and who your child talks with online . is just as important as who they spend face to face time with. Think about this ..,

3. Tell ourselves that we would know, what going on, when we may not know what to look for.
the online world is not like TV or video, it so NOT a SAFE place.
BEFORE YOUR CHILDREN START Playing Online
make sure they know
- [ ] About SAFE and UNSAFE feelings. SAFE is great. UNSAFE feelings online are not ok. if this happens they can talk with you. ( be available)

- [ ] Ensure your kids know about Early Warning Signs and what theirs are- This can be fun play BOOM BOOM balloon or pie face with them. SAFE games are fun, comfortable and they can. UNSAFE games can give feelings of uncertainty , nervousness and shock. these are Early Warning Signs.

- [ ] Embedd in your home and family -the safe and unsafe secret rule. Unsafe games or predators on unsafe games may demand or groom kids too keep things secret.Safe games are never a secret.
