π¦ LETβS FEED LARRY π¦
There was plenty of excitement in the room as our children gathered to help feed Larry today! π
Experiences like this provide wonderful opportunities for children to develop confidence, curiosity and respect for living things. As they observed Larry up close, the children asked questions, shared their ideas and learned about the needs and characteristics of reptiles. πΏβ¨
By caring for our centre pets, children build empathy, responsibility and a deeper connection to the natural world around them. We loved seeing the childrenβs fascination and enthusiasm as they watched Larry enjoy his meal! π¦π½οΈ

π§Έ WEβRE GOING ON A BEAR HUNT! π§Έ
In our Waratah studio, our children have been exploring the much-loved story Weβre Going on a Bear Hunt through a hands-on sensory experience!
From swishy swashy grass π±, to splishy splashy water π¦, thick oozy mud π€ and a swirling snowstorm βοΈ, our sensory tray brought the story to life and encouraged children to engage their imagination, language skills, and curiosity through play.
These immersive experiences help foster early literacy, storytelling, sensory exploration, and a love of books in a meaningful and engaging way.
π βWe canβt go over it. We canβt go under it. Oh no! Weβve got to go through it!β

We love seeing the concentration, persistence and pride our children show as they practice forming letters and build confidence in their abilities.π
